Jodi is new to Arizona, but not new to counseling.   She earned her license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Southern California, then in Arizona where she has resided for the past two years.  She spent a number of years working in a community clinic counseling individuals, couples and families.  She is passionate about working toward the health and healing of emotions in relationships.  She specializes in life transitions, communication, and learning to accept and forgive.  Additionally, in dealing with traumas that impact current functioning she utilizes a new gentle technique which helps with depression, anxiety, and post traumatic stress by delinking the emotional response to prior trauma.  Jodi’s focus is on relationships, either repairing the ones you are in, the ones you are trying to have, or the one you have with yourself.  If your relationship is beginning, needs a tune-up, or a complete overhaul, there are things you can do to make it better, or change it.  She is a certified facilitator for both SYMBIS (Save Your Marriage Before It Starts) and Prepare-Enrich, both on-line relationship assessment tools to help identify strengths and weaknesses for pre-marital couples, as well as couples re-marrying with or without kids, enrichment for long term marriage, as well as unmarried couples.
