Please join us in congratulating Jamie Overstreet who is moving to full-time status as of Monday, 9/18/23. Jamie will see clients on Monday and Wednesday’s 10am-3pm and on Tuesday and Thursday’s 10am-7pm.
Jamie is a Licensed Associate Counselor who is passionate in the belief that within every person there exists an inner wisdom that can be accessed to guide us in transforming our lives. Jamie has over thirteen years of experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings in the Tucson area. Jamie has provided mental health services to those suffering from severe mental illness, substance use disorders, trauma and general mental health concerns. Jamie has worked with both adolescent and adult clients in individual and group settings. Jamie brings the perspective of clients as the expert, and utilizes a variety of clinical approaches to assist clients in accessing their own inner wisdom to guide their healing journeys. Jamie has been trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Jamie spends her free time studying yoga, weight lifting, reading and spending time with her family and children.
