Since 1985, Renewal Centers has provided affordable counseling services to our community through evidenced based practices that encompass the well being of our client’s mind, body, and spirituality.

Renewal Centers is a faith-based, Southern Arizona counseling center, home to a variety of independently contracted, licensed, and committed individuals from three different therapy disciplines: Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Counseling, and Social Work.

All therapists at Renewal Centers are committed to walking alongside our clients on their life’s journeys, no matter the road taken. If this sounds like the place for you to begin healing, the journey begins by calling our wonderful staff and allowing them to walk you through the next steps.

Insurance coverage varies by therapist, however we accept most major insurance groups:

Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Tricare, United Healthcare
We do not accept AHCCCS plans

Self-Pay

You may pay by cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, or health saving card.

$165/session for professionally licensed Psychologist
$150/session for professionally licensed therapists (LPC, LMFT, LISAC, and LCSW)
$125/session for associate licensed therapists (LAC, LAMFT, LMSW)
Interns (if available) $50/session

Sliding Scale

Proof of income required to determine sliding scale fee. You may pay by cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, or health saving card.

$75-125/session for associate licensed therapists (LAC, LAMFT, LMSW)
Interns may be available at a discounted rate

Renewal Centers has openings for independently licensed therapists at all three locations. Renewal offers the opportunity to work full or part-time as an independent contractor within a supportive environment for a fair and competitive percentage. You decide the days and time you want to work and tell us your specialty areas and we handle the rest – scheduling, filing of insurance, payment processing, and other administrative tasks. What does "faith-based" mean?

Nearly half of Renewal clientele have a strong faith-based initiative and want to pursue therapy through the filter of a Christ centered perspective. Renewal Centers agency recognizes the influence of spirituality on healing and wants to support those seeking intervention methods that honor their beliefs. But not all clients have the same agenda, and a client’s need is what directs the content of therapeutic intervention. At the direction of the client, their specific spirituality (or lack of one) will be respected and integrated into their counseling without judgment.

How will I know if my therapist is a good fit?

Renewal Centers has therapists that seek out specialized training and certifications and work within their defined area of expertise. Our therapists are sensitive to the needs of the client and work diligently to ensure client fit. If at any time a therapist feels they are reaching in their efforts to support client, they will refer them to a trusted therapist who can finish the race. As well, the client should look to connect with their therapist especially during the first few sessions. An ideal time to gauge relationship suitability is when working with therapist to write a treatment plan that embraces client’s goals and desires for healing. If client suspects there is not a good fit, they may request a referral either from the therapist or through the front desk at Renewal Centers Counseling Services.

What if I am already working with a physician or psychiatrist?

Renewal Centers believes in whole body healing and looks forward to collaborating with a client’s primary care physician or psychiatrist to ensure complete and unified healing.

Do you do custody evaluations?

Renewal Centers’ therapists do NOT do custody evaluations and do not go to court regarding custody issues. To do so ethically is a specialty in itself. If this is what you are looking for, we may be able to provide you with referral sources.

Does Renewal Centers offer telehealth appointments?

During COVID we were introduced to the benefits and mechanics of conducting Telehealth Therapy. Since that time, many of our therapists are still offering telehealth appointments, however some have transitioned back to in-person visits, while others continue to offer both options. Additionally, another Telehealth service option is to conduct telephonic delivery of therapy. Busy lives and tight schedules respond well to the flexibility of Telehealth. Please call to let us know your appointment preference so we can help connect you with the best fit therapist for your needs.
