Biography

Rebecca Bowie believes counseling is a sacred space where healing and faith meet. As a Licensed Master Social Worker in Arizona with more than 15 years of experience in behavioral health, leadership, and ministry, she considers it a privilege to walk alongside individuals, couples, and families seeking renewal—emotionally, relationally, and spiritually.

Many people come to counseling feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Rebecca seeks to create a calm and welcoming environment where clients feel safe sharing their story, processing life’s challenges, and rediscovering hope.

As a Licensed Master Social Worker, Rebecca’s training emphasizes caring for the whole person—recognizing that emotional struggles are often connected to life experiences, relationships, and spiritual questions. This perspective allows her to walk alongside clients in a practical and compassionate way, helping address both the deeper roots of distress and the everyday challenges people face as they move toward healing and renewal.

Her approach to counseling is grounded in a biblical worldview and shaped by the belief that true transformation involves the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. When appropriate and desired by the client, Rebecca integrates Scripture, prayer, and faith-based reflection alongside evidence-based therapeutic practices. Clients interested in that approach can also learn more about our faith-based counseling services.

Her clinical work is especially focused on couples and families, where she helps strengthen communication, resolve conflict, and rebuild connection. She also works with adolescents and individuals navigating anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and PTSD, offering both practical tools and deeper therapeutic support. For related support, you can also explore our individual therapy and teen counseling pages.

In addition to her clinical work, Rebecca has served as an Ordained Associate Lay Minister and brings more than 20 years of ministry and outreach experience serving youth, individuals experiencing homelessness, and vulnerable communities. This ministry background deeply informs her counseling philosophy—that God is present in the healing process and that restoration is possible even in the most difficult seasons of life.

Rebecca earned her Master of Social Work from Arizona State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Liberty University. She is currently working toward full Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) status in Arizona.
